Can this actually replace the phone I use every day?
That depends on the exact apps that run your life. Send the names of your bank, wallet, myID, authenticator, work login, car, health and messaging apps. Many work with sandboxed Google Play, but providers can change their checks. We check the list before payment because one essential app is enough to change the answer.
Will I lose WhatsApp, Signal, maps or Android Auto?
WhatsApp, Signal and mainstream maps can be installed. Android Auto depends on the car, cable and permissions. We check what you use before you buy. The goal is not to give you a private phone that sits in a drawer. The goal is to replace the one already tracking your day.
I want more than privacy. I want to be anonymous. What do I do?
Start by separating the phone from the records around it. PRIVATEPHONE can reduce device-level collection, sandbox Google Play and give you tighter control over apps and profiles. It cannot erase records created by a SIM, telco, payment provider, courier, parcel locker or account you sign into. A cash-funded prepaid Visa may reduce the direct payment link if its issuer allows the purchase, but delivery still creates a record. We explain the whole chain instead of calling the handset invisible.
Can I keep my current SIM and number without ruining the point?
You can keep a compatible SIM and number. The phone can still reduce device-level collection, but your telco account and network records remain attached to that service. If carrier separation is your main concern, tell Maya whether you need calls, SMS, mobile data or Wi-Fi only.
How do I pay without attaching my normal card to the order?
Card and PayPal are the simplest options and both create payment records. If you want more purchase privacy, you can consider a prepaid Visa funded with cash, provided the issuer allows the transaction. Use delivery details the carrier can lawfully service. A payment choice can reduce one direct link, but it does not erase fulfilment, parcel-locker or courier records.
Can I use a parcel locker and call the order 'Device 001'?
A label such as Device 001 may be added as an order or delivery reference where the carrier accepts it. It does not replace recipient details required by the carrier or parcel-locker provider. Use an address and identity details that the delivery service can lawfully accept.
What is the difference between PRIVATEPHONE ONE and TWO?
ONE is the private daily phone. It is built to replace the phone already in your pocket, with essential apps checked before payment. TWO is built to order for stronger separation across work, travel and personal life, with a deeper profile plan and longer handover. ONE is planned at A$899. TWO is quoted after we understand what needs to stay apart.
What happens if one app ruins the whole switch?
We tell you before payment. You can keep that task on another device, use a browser route where appropriate, or decide not to buy. We would rather lose the sale than sell you a private phone that sends you back to the old one a week later.
